Mark Gau

Mark Gau is an experienced executive with a robust background in business leadership across various industries. Currently serving as the Country Chairman for PETRONAS since April 2018, Mark represents the company in China and oversees a multi-billion US dollar operation. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Regional Head for PETRONAS Lubricants International, managing a significant lubricants business in China. Mark has also served as the Global Director for the Edge Brand at Castrol, leading a multi-billion US dollar global brand initiative. With an extensive marketing background at BP and Castrol and experience in apparel with Nike, Mark has established a diverse career. Educationally, Mark holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Master's degree in Linguistics from Fu Jen Catholic University.
