Philip Shell

Philip Shell is a Principal Geoscientist with over 20 years of experience in the hydrocarbon industry, particularly in project management and leadership roles. Currently, they are part of the Technical Assurance Team at PETRONAS, having previously held positions at BP Oman, BP Exploration, and Aramco, where they contributed significantly to reservoir management and development. Philip is recognized for their expertise in clastic core description, sedimentology, and geological modeling, and is committed to mentoring young geoscientists in various aspects of the field. They hold a BSc in Geology, an MSc in Petroleum Geology, and a PhD in Sedimentology from prestigious institutions.
