Vanessa Gilbert

Vanessa Gilbert is a Senior Process Engineer at PETRONAS, specializing as the Lead Process Engineer for Train 9 LNG since October 2020. Previous roles include Process Engineer and Junior Process Technologist. Vanessa served as the Professional Development Chair at AIChE from May 2018 to September 2020, where responsibilities included organizing professional development events and collaborating with PepsiCo to prepare chemical engineering students for career opportunities. As Publicity Chair at AIChE, Vanessa enhanced communication and participation among members. Additional experience includes a Supervisor role at The Sett Recreation Center, leadership positions in the Wisconsin Engineering Student Council, and a Laboratory and Marketing Internship at Viscosity Oil Company. Vanessa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
