Petrookie AB is the parent company behind PawKarma—a brand created from a deep love for pets and a belief that they deserve better support in everyday life. PawKarma was born out of the small, quiet moments that every pet owner recognizes: watching a cat hide when something changes at home, noticing a dog scratching more than usual, wondering whether a food switch is helping or harming, or feeling unsure if a behavior is “normal” or a sign that something isn’t right. These moments are filled with care, but they can also be filled with uncertainty. We started Petrookie AB because we saw how often pet owners are left to figure things out alone—through scattered advice, conflicting recommendations, and trial-and-error decisions that can be stressful for both pets and people.

PawKarma is our way of making that support accessible and understandable for everyday pet owners. We are building a pet portal designed to reduce confusion and decision fatigue in pet care, especially around areas that matter most: nutrition, routines, and wellbeing. The world of pet products is crowded, and even well-intentioned owners can feel overwhelmed. Labels are complex. Ingredient lists are hard to interpret. Marketing claims sound convincing but are not always easy to compare.

We believe pet owners deserve clarity without being talked down to. They deserve guidance that is practical, compassionate, and grounded in a real understanding of daily life with pets. Many people want to do the right thing, but they’re balancing time, budget, and competing information. That’s why our solutions are designed to meet owners where they are: offering a simpler path to better decisions and better outcomes. We aim to help owners move from “guessing” to “knowing what to try next,” and from feeling worried to feeling supported.

Our long-term vision for PawKarma is to become a trusted companion for pet owners: a place they return to when they want to understand their pet better and make better choices!
