Janine Pendleton is a versatile individual whose journey spans from science to storytelling. With a PhD in Geological and Earth Sciences from The University of Sheffield, Janine worked as a Statigrapher and Palynologist at PetroStrat from 2012 to 2025, advancing to the role of Senior Digital Marketing Strategist. Since 2015, Janine has also been the photographer and website owner of Obsidian Urbex Photography, where they explore and document abandoned places, merging artistic passion with digital marketing expertise. Currently, Janine serves as a Marine Mammal Medic with British Divers Marine Life Rescue, while continually developing their digital marketing strategies and content creation initiatives.
