Claudio Roberto Ely

Mr. Claudio Roberto Ely is a senior consultant at Warburg Pincus. Prior to that, Mr. Ely was CEO at Drogasil S.A., where he led the company’s IPO process in 2007 and participated in the merger of Drogasil with Raia S.A., which resulted in Raiadrogasil S.A., Brazil’s largest pharmacy chain.

Mr. Ely was also CEO and held management positions at Banco Geral do Comércio, and was Managing Director at Camargo Correa Metais. Mr. Ely is currently a member of the Boards of Directors of Pet Center, DIMED Distribuidora de Medicamentos, and Petrobrás Distribuidora, and a member of the Advisory Council of Eurofarma Laboratórios and Sequoia Logística. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
