Howard Brown

Howard Brown has been working in the software engineering industry since 1989. Howard began their career as a Programmer at IBM, where they wrote diagnostic programs for the IBM PC. Howard then moved to Siemens AG in 1995, where they wrote software to configure PBX systems. In 2000, they began working as a Staff Software Engineer at Inprimis, where they wrote diagnostic and test code for hardware verification of set top boxes. From 2001 to 2009, they worked at Motorola as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, designing, documenting, coding and reviewing test plans for digital set top boxes. Howard then moved to General Electric in 2009, where they led manual and automated test development, execution and reports for features related to the SmartGrid. In 2015, they began working at Vonage Business as a Software Engineer III, responsible for leading and executing manual test efforts on accounting and telephony software projects. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Brightree LLC as a Software Test Engineer, manually testing applications for the Home Medical Equipment business. Howard currently works at Pex as a Sr. QA Engineer.

Howard Brown obtained a B.A.S in Computer Science & Information Systems from Florida Atlantic University between 1985 and 1987.
