Kenny Wu

Kenny Wu has a long and varied work experience. Kenny began their career in 2010 as a Concierge at the Marriott Vancouver Airport Hotel. In 2012, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at TD. In 2013, they became an Assistant Language Teacher at the JET Programme Canada. In 2016, they held two positions simultaneously: a Teaching Assistant at Lighthouse Labs and a Full Stack Software Developer at Fiitfu CRM Solutions. In 2017, they moved to Lendesk as a Software Developer. In 2019, they worked as a Software Developer (Infrastructure & DevOps) at ScaleFactor. Currently, they are an Engineering Manager I and Engineer III at Pex.

Kenny Wu has a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from Simon Fraser University, which they obtained between 2008 and 2012. In 2015, they studied Neuroanatomy at The University of British Columbia. In 2016, they attended Lighthouse Labs for Web Development. In 2019, they attended Bradfield School of Computer Science for Computer Science. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: Go: The Complete Developer's Guide (Golang) from Udemy in September 2020, and Build a Modern Computer from First Principles: From Nand to Tetris (Project-Centered Course) from Coursera in January 2019.
