Tom Forrest

Tom Forrest is the Business Development & Software Sales Manager at Pexapark. Tom has over fifteen years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on commodities trading and risk management.

Tom started their career as a Commercial Officer Finance at Hydro Tasmania. Tom then moved to Energy Exemplar, where they worked as a Senior Power Market Consultant for four years. In this role, they provided consulting services to energy companies in Australia and New Zealand, helping them to understand and manage their risks.

In 2011, Tom joined Lacima Group as their Business Development Manager for the EMEA region. In this role, they were responsible for driving new business development and marketing activities. Tom helped front and middle office teams at commodity producers and traders to understand their true risks, navigate volatile markets, and capitalize on potential trading opportunities.

Tom has been with Pexapark since 2021. In their current role, they are responsible for sales and software development. Tom continues to help energy companies around the world to manage their risks and capitalize on trading opportunities.

Tom Forrest received a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Information Systems from the University of Tasmania. Tom also completed a Professional Trading Masterclass Series at the Institute of Trading and Portfolio Management.
