Kyle Forney

Kyle Forney has a diverse work experience spanning over various companies and roles. Kyle started their career as an Audio & Video Engineering Intern at Video Impressions in 2006. Kyle then became a Freelance Web Developer - Front-End, working for himself, from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Ragan Communications and PR Daily as a Web Developer & Multimedia Producer before eventually becoming the Director of New Media Technology. In 2011, they transitioned to Qumu Corporation, where they took on roles as a Professional Services Field Engineer and later as the Technical Sales & Services Manager for the Asia-Pacific region. In 2016, they moved to IBM as the Technical Sales Manager for North America, specifically focusing on IBM Cloud Video & Watson Media. Kyle then joined BlueJeans Network in 2018 as a Sr. Technical Sales Consultant. Currently, Kyle is working at Pexip as the Sr. Solutions Architect and was recently promoted to the Director of Customer Engineering in December 2020.

Kyle Forney attended Northern Illinois University from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Media Communication and Technology, with a focus on Programming, Media Production, and Design. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Diagnostics Expert and Pexip Infinity Certified Technical Expert from Pexip in 2020, as well as Cloud and Cognitive and IBM Cloud Technical Sales Foundations certifications from IBM in 2017.
