Peter McCarthy

Peter McCarthy has extensive work experience in sales and leadership roles. Peter is currently serving as the Vice President of Sales at Pexip since January 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Sales- Federal at Pexip starting from October 2020. Before joining Pexip, Peter worked at Presidio as the Director of Sales from October 2012. Peter led a nationwide team of 10 sales executives and business development professionals and focused on sales of IT modernization solutions for Federal government clients. Peter also has experience working at Cisco Systems, where they served as the Director of Sales from October 2010 to September 2012. Peter led a national team of up to 20 sales and business development professionals and focused on building collaboration solutions for Federal government customers. Prior to Cisco Systems, Peter worked at TANDBERG as the Sr. Director of Sales and Sales Manager in the Federal market. Peter also has experience working at Core BTS, Worldcom, and MCI Telecommunications Corporation in various sales roles.

From 1990 to 1994, Peter McCarthy attended SUNY Geneseo where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History.
