Alan Bell

Alan Bell is an experienced professional in the performing arts and insurance industries, currently serving as Assistant Stage Manager for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra since January 2018, while also working as an Insurance Agent for PFA since August 2020. With a long-standing involvement in IATSE Local 127, Alan holds multiple roles including Vice President, Stagehand, Rigger, and Secretary/Treasurer. A former business owner of Bell's Custom Tack, Alan operated the company from January 2000 to August 2020. In addition to stage management, Alan has performed as a drummer for the Maylee Thomas Band and Texas BluesCrew, and served as A/V Tech for Freeman Company. Alan's early career includes driving and facilitating for Alford Media Services from July 1995 to July 2010. Education includes attendance at The University of Texas at El Paso from 1977 to 1979.
