Benjamin Henriksen has a vast work experience in IT security and management. Benjamin worked as a VP, CISO at PFA starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Systemadministrator at ErfaKursuscenter A/S from 1999 to 2001. Benjamin Henriksen also gained experience as an IT-Tekniker at Teknologi- og Informationscenteret, København from 1998 to 1999, and as a Systemtekniker at BusinessNet Danmark from 1996 to 1998.

Benjamin Henriksen holds a Master's degree in IT-Leadership and Management, which they obtained from IT-Universitetet i København in 2018. Prior to this, they completed several single-subject courses at the same institution, including Presentation and Investigation, IT Security, and Introduction to Database Design, in 2013 and 2012, respectively. Benjamin also holds a Diploma in Information Technology, specializing in computer science, from IT-Universitetet i København, which they received in 2012. Before pursuing higher education, Benjamin attended Niels Brock and Lyngby Uddannelsescenter, where they acquired foundational knowledge in Information Technology and InformatikAssistent, respectively. In addition to their educational background, Benjamin has obtained various certifications in the field of IT security and governance, including GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT), CISSP® - Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Lead Auditor ISO 27001:2013, Lead Implementer ISO 27001:2013, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA), GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN), and Certified Ethical Hacker.
