Steffen Schapira

Steffen Schapira is a seasoned actuary with extensive experience in the insurance and pension industries. Currently serving as a Senior Actuary at PFA since January 2018 on a part-time basis, Steffen previously held senior roles at Nordea Liv & Pension, where responsibilities included Senior Actuary and Insurance Risk Manager from May 2005 to July 2017. Prior experience includes the position of Appointed Actuary at Skandia Pension and a partnership at S. B. Aktuar-Rådgivning, where Steffen was an Actuary from August 1996 to March 2001. Earlier career roles were held at PFA Pension and Statsanstalten for Livsforsikring, beginning in June 1976. Steffen's academic background includes education at Sortedam Gymnasium and Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
