Pfaffinger Foundation assists eligible employees and retirees of the former Times Mirror companies with essential needs during times of hardship. We can help with medical bills, health insurance premiums, rental assistance and other basic needs. 

We honor the contributions that employees have made to the newspaper industry and carry on Frank Pfaffinger’s legacy of helping employees in need. We assist current and former employees from the Los Angeles Times, California Community News, Times Community News, Hartford Courant, Morning Call, Baltimore Sun and Newsday.
