Alan Happe

Alan Happe is an experienced chemist with a solid academic foundation, holding a BSc and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham. From 2001 to 2003, Alan worked as a Senior Scientist at Charterhouse Therapeutics, focusing on the medicinal design of novel Prostaglandin analogues. Subsequently, Alan joined Pfizer in 2008, where roles included UK Chemical Technologies Lead, overseeing a team of scientists for chemical process design, and Chemical R&D Labs Lead at the Ringaskiddy Clinical Manufacturing Facility, responsible for establishing the chemical R&D lab function. Alan also served as Production Supervisor, managing complex teams to ensure timely GMP API delivery for clinical studies, and as API Project Leader, directing multiple clinical stage API projects from initial medicinal chemistry stages through to commercial route identification and design.
