Allison Lau

Allison Lau is a Principal Scientist at Pfizer, with a focus on Internal Medicine Research, since September 2021. Previously, Lau worked at the MIT Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research from August 2014 to September 2021 as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow, contributing to projects on metabolic heterogeneity in pancreatic cancer and developing innovative co-culture models. Lau earned a PhD in Genetics from Harvard University, where research involved the characterization of metastatic lung tumor propagating cells, and completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Penn State University. Throughout the academic and professional career, Lau has gained extensive experience in mentoring and training emerging scientists.
