Amit Kalgutkar is a Senior Research Fellow specializing in Rare Diseases and Antivirals, currently serving as DMPK Portfolio Lead at Pfizer, where they have worked since 1999. With over 20 years of experience as a "Drug Hunter" and involvement in the development of over a dozen clinical candidates, Amit contributes significantly to therapeutic advancements. They also hold the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of Rhode Island's College of Pharmacy since 2010. Amit completed a post-doctoral degree in Biochemistry at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and earned a PhD in Chemistry at Virginia Tech.
