Amy Hanson

Amy Hanson, PharmD, BCIDP, is currently a Field Medical Director covering Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa at Pfizer, where they educate healthcare professionals on COVID-19 management. With expertise in Infectious Diseases, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Infection Prevention, Amy previously held clinical roles at Rush University Medical Center, and led significant initiatives, including earning the hospital a place on the Infectious Disease Society of America’s “Center of Excellence” list. They also served as a Medical Science Liaison at IDbyDNA and contributed to multiple CDC-funded projects while at the Chicago Department of Public Health. A former NCAA Division One volleyball player at Drake University, Amy balances a demanding career with being a proud parent of four children.
