Andy Townsend

Andy Townsend is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in medical engagement and product development. They served as the External Medical Engagement Lead and Senior Director at Pfizer, where they focused on anti-infectives and diagnostics. Prior to this, Andy held various roles at AstraZeneca, including Senior Product Development Director and Global Product Manager. They began their career as a Research Chemist at Oxford GlycoSciences after earning a Bachelor of Science from the University of Leeds and a PhD from The University of Manchester.
