Annelien Everaert, PhD, QP, is currently the QA Lead for the QP team at Pfizer, where they oversee the release of the COVID vaccine. Previously, they led various departments at Pfizer, including Sterilization & Cleaning Technology and Sterilization Monitoring & Control, focusing on validations and compliance. Annelien earned a PhD at Ghent University, where their research concentrated on antibacterial chemotherapy against multidrug-resistant bacteria. They also held a team leader role in Quality Operations during their tenure at Pfizer from 2019 to 2021. Annelien holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, obtained from Ghent University.
