Ariel Feldstein

Ariel Feldstein serves as the SVP and Chief Scientific Officer of Internal Medicine at Pfizer since September 2025. Feldstein is also a Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at UC San Diego, a position held since 2011. Prior experience includes serving as Corporate Vice President of Liver & Kidney Disease Research at Novo Nordisk from July 2022 to September 2025, and co-founding Elgia Therapeutics, Inc., which focuses on treating chronic inflammatory and fibrotic diseases, from 2019 to August 2022. Additionally, Feldstein was a Scientific Founder and board member of Jecure Therapeutics, which targets non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and liver fibrosis, from 2016 to 2018, and served as the Director of Research at the Pediatric Institute of Cleveland Clinic from 2004 to 2011. Feldstein holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Buenos Aires.
