Armando Gonzalez

Armando Gonzalez is currently the Safety Risk Lead-Director-MD at Pfizer, where they oversee safety surveillance and risk management activities for an anti-infectives drug portfolio. Prior to this role, Armando served in various capacities within the pharmaceutical industry, including positions as Director of Medical and Scientific Analysis at Pfizer and Consultant Microbiologist at Darent Valley Hospital. They have extensive clinical experience in Medical Microbiology and Infection Control, with a background as a Clinical Lecturer at University College London Hospitals. Armando holds a Doctor in Medicine from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and an MSc and PhD in Medical Microbiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
