Ashlesh Murthy

Ashlesh Murthy possesses a diverse background in medical and academic settings. Beginning as a Medical Intern at Bangalore Medical College, Ashlesh transitioned to roles focusing on research, including a Junior Research Fellow position at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Ashlesh served as a Research Assistant Professor and progressed through various academic ranks at Midwestern University, ultimately becoming Associate Dean for Research and Professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine, specializing in mucosal immunology and bacterial pathogenesis. Currently, Ashlesh holds the position of Director of Bacterial Vaccines and Technology at Pfizer. Ashlesh earned an M.D. from Bangalore Medical College and a Ph.D. in Cell & Molecular Biology, Immunology from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
