Avani Patel

Avani Patel is a Senior Director of IM Medical Outcomes & Analytics at Pfizer, where they have driven patient- and provider-centered solutions since 2015. In this role, Avani collaborates with organized customers, health service providers, and advocacy associations to enhance disease screening and improve treatment outcomes. Before their tenure at Pfizer, Avani served as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Methodist Health System for six years, focusing on drug therapy management. They earned both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Texas at Austin and completed residencies at Parkland Health and Hospital System. Avani is a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist and a Certified Diabetes Educator, and has actively contributed to the field through their leadership in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
