Cheryl Hayward

Cheryl Hayward is the Executive Director of Chemical Research & Development at Pfizer. With a career spanning over two decades at Pfizer, they have held various leadership roles including Director of Atherosclerosis Medicinal Chemistry and Senior Director in Internal Medicine Medicinal Chemistry, where they led a synthesis team. Cheryl earned a BA in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Yale University. Currently, they serve as Senior Director of Process Chemistry, focusing on early process chemistry development and manufacturing.
