Chris O'Donnell holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As an NIH pre-doctoral fellow, Chris focused on the synthesis of unnatural ionophores and later completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UC Irvine, synthesizing gelsemine. Joining Pfizer in 1999, Chris has held various roles, including Partner at Pfizer Ventures and Vice President of Partnering Innovations, leading projects that have produced multiple clinical candidates. Currently, Chris serves on the boards of several biotechnology companies while continuing to advance innovative therapeutic development.
