Christopher Poss

Christopher Poss has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, notably at Pfizer from January 1995 to January 2005, where roles included Senior Principal Scientist in Chemoinformatics, where Christopher proposed and established the first chemoinformatics position under Medicinal Chemistry and developed innovative solutions for medicinal chemistry design. As Director of Immunology Chemistry, Christopher led medicinal chemistry laboratories and supervised a team of up to 18, significantly contributing to the discovery of three molecules that achieved key development milestones. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Research Scientist in Immunology at Pfizer, where Christopher designed novel candidates for the CCR1 antagonist program, and as a Senior Research Scientist at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, where contributions were made to the design and synthesis of SH2 domain binding antagonists during the company's early development. Christopher holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University and a Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry from Yale University.
