Claire Hershenhouse

Process Engineering Intern

Claire Hershenhouse is a senior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Current roles include Project Engineer at i-MADE, where Claire contributes to the development of a digital stethoscope for telehealth, and Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Anakk Laboratory, focusing on liver cancer research. Claire has previously held positions such as Editor for Brain Matters Neuroscience Journal, Vice President of Olami JHealth, and various leadership roles within the Society of Women Engineers. Additional experience includes internships at Pfizer and research assistant roles with Northwestern Biomedical Engineering Department. Claire's background includes a high school diploma from Glenbrook South High School and a study abroad program through CEA CAPA Education Abroad in 2023.
