Daniel Blackstock

Daniel Blackstock, PhD, is a strategic and collaborative biotechnology leader with 15 years of experience in bioprocessing. They held positions from Principal Scientist to Director at Generation Bio, where they developed cell-free enzymatic processes for therapeutic DNA production and advanced gene therapy capabilities. They also served as Team Lead at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, overseeing a cell culture development team to facilitate clinical advancements. Currently, they are a Group Lead in Upstream Process Development at Pfizer, while also pursuing a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Delaware.
