Donna Altenpohl has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several reputable companies. Donna began their career at Cigna in 1990, where they served as the Vice President of Marketing for the middle market employer segment. During their time there, they led strategic planning, marketing, and distribution strategies for Cigna's 28 local healthcare markets. Donna held this role until 2005.
In 2006, Donna joined GSK as the Vice President of Public Policy. In this position, they led the US Public Policy and Reimbursement team for NA Pharma. Donna'sresponsibilities included diagnosing the impact of federal/state governments on GSK's market access strategy and executing legislative, regulatory, and public payer initiatives. Donna also played a key role in implementing GSK's healthcare reform priorities.
Donna then transitioned to The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in 2016, where they served as the External Engagement and Market Strategy for the Strategic Customer group. Donna later became the Head of Market Access Marketing for Immunology and Oncology. During their time at Janssen, Donna played a vital role in developing market access strategies and engaging with external stakeholders.
Most recently, Donna joined Pfizer in 2019, where they held two key positions. Donna served as the Vice President of Market Access Strategy & Analytics from 2019 to 2021. Donna then took on the role of Vice President of the Value & Access Business Unit for Vaccines in January 2022.
Throughout their career, Donna has demonstrated expertise in market access, public policy, marketing, and strategic planning within the healthcare industry. Donna'svast experience has undoubtedly contributed to their success in leadership positions and their ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
