Emily Mize

Principal Scientist

Emily Mize is a seasoned portfolio manager and principal scientist with significant experience in project and team management. They have a strong background in analytical method development and validation, specializing in the characterization of small organic molecules and large biomolecules. Previously, Emily worked as a research assistant at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center, where they developed HILIC-MS strategies, and as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Georgia, providing support in organic chemistry labs. Since 2018, they have held the position of principal scientist at Pfizer, where they lead analytical project teams, manage assay development, and provide mentorship within various departments. Emily earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Georgia in 2017.
