Eric Fauman is the Executive Director of AI Strategy and Innovation in Cardiometabolic Health and Disease, currently leading initiatives at Pfizer since 2021. Previously, they served as a Research Fellow and Head of Computational Target Validation, as well as other roles within Pfizer, focusing on computational biology to aid in the identification and validation of drug targets across various disease areas. Eric began their academic journey at UCSF, where they earned a graduate degree while mastering X-ray crystallography, and continued their research as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Michigan. They demonstrated significant contributions to the field by solving important crystal structures, including the human CDC25A phosphatase.
