Eric Hansen

Eric Hansen is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry, particularly known for expertise in process chemistry and synthetic routes development for active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). Currently serving as Director at Pfizer since October 2015, Eric previously held roles as Process Chemistry Team Lead, Principal Scientist, and Sr. Research Scientist II within the same company, contributing to advancements in synthetic methodologies using advanced technologies. Eric's foundational education includes a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. in Chemistry from Calvin University, complemented by early experience as a summer intern at British Petroleum where studies focused on the oxidations of aromatic hydrocarbons.
