Hani Al-Hashmi

Hani Al-Hashmi, MD, EMSHA, LSSBBP, has over 20 years of experience in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sectors and currently serves as the Senior Medical Director and Country Medical Lead for Medical Affairs at Pfizer in Saudi Arabia. Their expertise encompasses Clinical Research, Oncology, Hematology, Cellular Therapies, and Medicinal Development, with a strong focus on advancing patient care through strategic leadership in national health initiatives, such as the National Cancer Care strategy aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Hani's prior roles include serving as an Independent Consultant for the Saudi Health Council and the Ministry of Health, where they contributed to the establishment of national healthcare standards. They obtained an Executive Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and are certified in Medicinal Development and Medical Affairs from King’s College London. Hani has also published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, furthering the fields of oncology and hematology.
