Henning Hesse

Henning Hesse is a seasoned freelance journalist with extensive experience in television production and editorial roles. They served as a freelance editor at Deutsche Welle from 2004 to 2023, where they developed and headed numerous TV and social media formats. Henning has also held positions as an editor in chief for 'ZWEI,' a science magazine under Pfizer, which received multiple prestigious awards. With a foundational role in the on-air promotion department at Deutsche Welle from 1995 to 1999, Henning has contributed to various channels, including Discovery Channel and Bloomberg TV, throughout their career. Henning holds a Magister in Modern History and Politics from Justus Liebig University Giessen and has studied African History at the School of Oriental and African Studies, U. of London.
