Hua

Hua Ma is a statistician currently serving as the Director of Biostatistics at Pfizer, where they lead the pediatric program for the Pfizer-BioNtech COVID-19 mRNA vaccine and oversee multiple clinical trials. Hua has extensive experience in vaccine and oncology clinical trials, having previously held positions as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck and a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University. They earned a PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Pittsburgh, where they conducted research on diagnostic performance and contributed to multiple publications in prominent journals. Earlier in their career, Hua obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Xiamen University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Sichuan Normal University.
