Jan Riedel

Jan Riedel is currently a Principal Scientist in Process Chemistry at Pfizer, where they focus on organic chemistry, catalysis, and computational chemistry. Previously, Jan worked as a Scientist at Seagen, developing and scaling chemical processes for clinical programs while establishing quantum chemistry capabilities within the company. They earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, and also hold a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Chemistry from TU Dortmund University. Jan’s research experience includes optimizing synthetic methods and mentoring undergraduate researchers.
