Jan Wagner serves as a Professor of Pathology, Emeritus at Wake Forest Baptist Health since July 2013, after a long tenure at Wake Forest University School of Medicine where Wagner held the position of Professor of Pathology from August 1985 to July 2013. Additionally, Wagner has been a Consultant for Pfizer since 2001 and held the role of Vice President and Senior Associate Dean for Research at Wake Forest School of Medicine from April 2011 to July 2013. Wagner was also the Director of the ARP at Piedmont Triad Research Park from 2004 to April 2011. Educationally, Wagner earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University (1981-1985), a Master of Science in Pharmacology from the University of Virginia School of Medicine (1978-1981), and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Biology from Hiram College (1975-1978).
