Jeffrey Chen is a highly experienced scientist in oncology research, currently serving as a Senior Scientist in the Oncology Research Unit at Pfizer since December 2003. In this role, Jeffrey has made significant contributions to drug discovery and translational support for FDA-approved anti-cancer drugs such as Sutent, Inlyta, and Xalkori, as well as for three clinical candidates in progress. Prior to this position, Jeffrey worked as a Kinase Researcher and Scientist at Sugen/Pharmacia/Pfizer from March 2002 to December 2003, supporting the development of SU11248 (Sutent) and related angiogenesis projects. Educationally, Jeffrey holds a Ph.D. in Cellular Oncology from the University of Kentucky and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Northwestern University.
