JJ Chen

JJ Chen is a bioprocess development professional currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Pfizer, where they lead mRNA downstream technology and manage a matrix team across various modalities. They also hold a position as Adjunct Faculty at Tufts University since 2024. Previously, JJ worked as a Principal Investigator at GSK, focusing on downstream process development for biopharmaceuticals and serving as a subject matter expert in ion exchange chromatography and high throughput screening. JJ earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Michigan in 2018 and a BSc in Chemistry from Nanjing University in 2013.
