Joanne Wu

Joanne (Juan) Wu is a highly experienced epidemiologist currently serving as Associate Director of Epidemiology at Pfizer since February 2022, leading post-approval safety studies for regulatory authorities. Prior to this, Joanne held the role of Senior Research Analyst at IBM Watson Health from July 2018 to February 2022, focusing on health economics and outcomes research. Joanne also worked as a Research Scientist at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor, where responsibilities included technical consultation on research design and review processes. Additionally, Joanne completed a Doctoral degree in Nutrition Epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where research centered on dietary risk factors and health outcomes. Prior education includes a Master of Science in Cell Biology from Penn State University.
