John Groarke

John Groarke, MBBCh MSc MPH, is the Executive Director of Cardiometabolic Clinical Research & Development at Pfizer. They are a board-certified cardiologist with training in heart failure, cardiovascular imaging, and cardio-oncology. Previously, they served as an academic cardiologist and held positions at institutions such as Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. With a commitment to clinical research and cardiovascular drug development in the biotechnology sector, John brings extensive expertise from past roles, including Director of Cardiometabolic Clinical Research at Pfizer and Clinical Research Medical Director at Amgen. They hold multiple degrees from Trinity College Dublin and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
