John Hong

John Hong has extensive legal experience in the pharmaceutical and financial sectors, currently serving as Lead Compliance Counsel and U.S. Risk Assessment and Monitoring CoE Lead at Pfizer since March 2004. In this role, John oversees a team dedicated to Risk Assessment and Compliance Monitoring activities. Previous positions at Pfizer include Senior Corporate Counsel and Corporate Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed compliance monitoring, promotional messaging analysis, and regulatory investigations related to FDA regulations. Prior to Pfizer, John worked as an Asset Management Consultant at Bear Stearns and as a Legal Assistant at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, managing significant financial transactions. John's early career includes experience as an Economic Analyst/Writer at the Korea-U.S. Economic Council. John holds a JD from Boston College Law School and a BA in Economics and English Literature from UC San Diego.
