John Weaver

John Weaver is an accomplished chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly at Pfizer. Serving as a Principal Scientist in Process Safety since April 2020, John leads evaluations of hazards and develops safety testing plans for the scale-up of chemical processes. Previously, John was a Process Safety Senior Scientist at Pfizer and contributed to the synthesis of pharmaceutical compounds as a Scientist. With a background as a Scientist in Discovery Chemistry at Sterling Drug Inc., John has demonstrated expertise in multi-step synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic compounds. John holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Penn State University, earned in 1984.
