Jonathan McDaniel

Jonathan McDaniel is a Sr. Principal Scientist at Pfizer, specializing in biomedical engineering with a focus on single-cell and high-throughput antibody discovery, automation, next-generation sequencing, immune libraries, and data analysis. They have developed innovative strategies to rapidly identify and derisk antibodies, demonstrating a strong ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Prior to joining Pfizer, Jonathan served as a Principal Scientist and contributed significantly to research at the University of Texas at Austin, where they developed a rapid response pipeline for identifying antibodies and published protocols for discovering natively paired antibody sequences. They hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, where they designed advanced drug delivery systems and engineered novel polypeptides.
