Joshua Lees is a highly experienced scientist in the field of structural and molecular sciences, currently serving as a Principal Scientist within the Cryo-EM Group at Pfizer from April 2022 to November 2023. Prior to this, Joshua held roles as a Senior Scientist in the same group at Pfizer from January 2020 to April 2022, and has also served as Lab Leader and Lab Head in structural biology at the Groton, Connecticut facility. Joshua's academic career includes a significant tenure as an Assistant Professor of Biology at Ave Maria University from August 2010 to May 2013, and extensive postdoctoral research at Yale University School of Medicine from June 2013 to May 2019 under the mentorship of Karin M. Reinisch. Joshua began the scientific journey as a Laboratory Technician III at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2003. Academically, Joshua earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Houghton College and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University.
