Joy Thompson

Joy Thompson, PMP, has extensive experience in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, holding significant roles across various organizations. At Wyeth Biotech, from January 2003 to October 2004, Joy served as a Senior Technical Service Scientist focusing on process validation and later as a Project Manager, leading projects in Vaccine Development, Process Improvements, and Technology Transfer. Prior experience includes roles as a Laboratory Technician at Virginia Tech Anaerobe Laboratory, a Research Scientist at Wyeth Research managing bacterial vaccine development, and a Biologist at ATCC responsible for anaerobic bacterial culture collections. Currently, Joy Thompson serves as the Manager and CoDevelopment Team Lead at Pfizer since October 2017, where responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams for new product development and providing technical leadership in clinical trials and commercial manufacturing. Joy earned a BS in Biology, Microbiology, and Chemistry from Virginia Tech.
