Katherine Rainey

Katherine Rainey, PhD, is a knowledgeable innovator and experienced scientist currently working at Pfizer as a Scientist since August 2021. Previously, Katherine worked as a Bioanalytical Scientist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories and held multiple research positions, including a Research Scientist role at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where contributions included the incubation of Helicobacter pylori strains to study immune responses. Katherine's background in microbiology and biotechnology is complemented by advanced skills in immune cell isolation, ELISA, and flow cytometry, alongside a history of mentoring and leadership, evidenced by the training of six scientists and the establishment of a student organization for skill enhancement. Educational credentials include a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a BS in Biotechnology from the University of Central Florida.
