Katrien Maes

Katrien Maes is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Sr. Manager Release Operations CSP, with extensive experience in quality assurance and team leadership. Previously, Katrien worked at Pfizer as a Team Leader for medical device complaints and has held various roles in quality assurance, including QA Release Engineer and QA Lead for New Operations CSP. Katrien completed a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where research focused on biomolecules and analytical method development, following a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same institution. Earlier in their career, Katrien gained experience as a pharmacist and check-in agent.
